Bark! it's an order, a shout, an attention grabber. It shatters the quiet, and rises above the noise.
It says 'hey - listen to me - I've got something to say!' This is how Bark creates content. It must grab attention and engage the audience.
Bark! leads with digital content, creating and utilising all the immediacy, efficiency, and precision a digital world offers. However, there is strategic value in print, and our roots in this traditional environment add value and insights.
Bark! Content Marketing is a South African company whose 'bark' resonates into neighbouring African countries.

Background to Bark
After studying, the world of community newspapers beckoned Mark and Simon, earning their stripes in the 'school of tough knocks' at South Africa's Caxton newspaper group.
Simon then moved into the high profile world of Diamonds, with De Beers as Communications Manager in SA and in Botswana, and Mark joined Ramsay Media, on SA's leading motoring title CAR magazine.
Simon's entrepreneurial spirit awoke and he stepped away from corporate life at De Beers to create his own company 'Blueground' serving the diamond mining communications industry.
As a creative business, Simon also launched Art Gecko, a full service design studio, including specialist creative services; animation, corporate video, advertising, events, etc.
Blueground and Art Gecko have spread their wings and grown to encompass a variety of blue-chip clients, including De Beers, Debswana, Anglo Gold Ashanti, Gold Fields and Aprio, to name a few.
Mark followed the corporate path at Ramsay Media SA, leading to a senior management role in the company and on CAR magazine.
He left corporate to join In-Site Media, a start-up company, heading up its SA Gauteng operations to launch Rugby World in SA.
Having whet his appetite for 'start-up' ventures he helped to launch Habari Content Marketing in 2012. This opened an exciting new digital world, and soon clients grew to include Jeep, Nedbank Greenbacks, Builders Warehouse, and eBucks Travel. Jeep and Builders became award winning projects.
Habari grew and its name changed to Narrative Media, which now belongs to the global Publicis Groupe.
But Mark's vision was to run his own agency and he left Narrative, exploiting his experience and insights to launch Bark Content Marketing - a specialist digitally focussed content agency.
Specialist resources (nice people) have joined Bark along the way, and Bark currently offers a variety of content marketing products and services, proving to bring a healthy ROI for clients. Bark's footprint covers SA and neighbouring Southern African countries....so far....
